Biography:

Cassie was born and raised in Appleton, attending school at Edison, Roosevelt, and East High School. Following graduation, she attended UW-La Crosse where Cassie had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Seville, Spain and participate as a division three athlete. Both experiences introduced her to new ideas and global concepts.

She began her teaching career in 2001 at Oak Creek Middle School near Milwaukee. There, Cassie taught Spanish and lead numerous extracurricular activities including coaching high school basketball and creating a school-wide Service Club. Cassie attended graduate school at Cardinal Stritch University, where she graduated with a master degree in administration and curriculum/ instruction.

Most recently, she completed her Montessori Administration and Leadership Credential from Seton Montessori Institute in Illinois. Two of her favorite things to do are spending time with her three sons and traveling. She also loves cooking, gardening, and seeing friends and family. As a young student, one of her teachers gave her a second chance, which was a life-changing event. This experience helps to shape her vision as a school administrator solidifying how special and important each child is.
