APM Running Club

Running Club takes place twice a year during the fall and spring. We meet twice a week from 3:45-4:15. Running Club is designed for students of all abilities, whether they would prefer to walk, jog or run at a brisk pace. We have supervisors and parent volunteers that participate at all different paces so there is always an adult with each group of students.

We are very lucky to be located inside Plamann Park and we enjoy utilizing the beautiful paved trails we have out here! Last fall (of 2013) was our first year and we completed our fall running season with the Santa Scamper (a one mile run before the Appleton Christmas Parade)! We all had a blast and are looking forward to completing our spring season with a 5K event! Running is our World.

Basketball Camp
The camps aim to teach kids the game of basketball in a fun-filled environment with the hope of building self-confidence, skill level, and a love for the game. We're offering the camps for E1 and E2 only.

Two different sessions are offered-Basketball Basics for Beginners and Basketball Drills and Skills (Intermediate level). During the Basketball Basics for Beginners session, students learn the fundamentals of the game of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, offense, defense, court awareness/terminology.  This camp is perfect for children new or newer to the game!
During the Basketball Drills and Skills session, students will enhance individual skills and teamwork through drills, competition, and goal setting.  This camp is perfect for children who have been through basketball basics, or have some experience playing sports in a team setting
